A one-man bowling ball, Adam does not so much ‘play soccer’ with us as ‘happens’ to us, usually with a combination of a determined expression, head down, with knees pumping.
I give him a lot of crap (I do most people, really; I’m very egalitarian in that way) and he doesn’t seem to mind too much, although one day soon I fear I might be somewhere dark and I’ll hear a voice behind me saying “oh, you think you should be shooting, do you?!”. Good guy!
