I got an email from Peter Chapman, organizer of the annual Six2Six charity event.
It’s on November 24th (that’s sunday week, people). It the same set up as always – soccer will be getting played for 12 hours, from…well, 6 til 6. You can choose to play for an hour, for two hours, or all day (in practice this usually means dropping in an out during the day).
It’s a really great cause, and we usually get at least half a dozen of us there to participate. If you’re interested, take a look at the flyer, or go direct to the Futbol Friends website.
$10 for 1 hour
$20 for 2 hours
$25 for unlimited play (I’ll be doing this; as everybody knows my soccering is always unlimited.)
I’m hoping that we can get at least 10 of us there! If you’re planning on going, let me know, maybe we can all be there at the same time and show them how to play soccer.
